Notes:
- To use FileUpEE’s HttpModule (FileUpEeModule.dll) with IIS 7.x, the FileUpEE application must run in an application pool with “classic” pipeline mode.
- To use FileUpEE on a 64-bit server with IIS 7.x, the FileUpEE application must run in a 32-bit application pool. On a 64-bit server with IIS 6.0, IIS must be running in 32-bit compatibility mode.
- If you intend to use the database (upload/download directly to/from database with SaveAsBlob and TransferBlob methods), it is highly recommended that you install the latest Microsoft drivers (MDAC - Microsoft Data Access Components). This is available for free at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/data/aa937730.aspx.
Supported Browsers:
FileUpEE supports all browsers that are compliant with the HTTP RFC1867 protocol for browser-based uploads and downloads. However, in order to use the XFileEE client-side ActiveX control, the client must use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 and above, as Internet Explorer is the only browser with ActiveX support.
